Loss of nutrients and tastiness of the feed. Numerous health problems and a reduced milk production. These are just some of the effects of heat formation in Total Mixed Ration (TMR).
The mixing of the TMR creates an enormous oxygen-rich environment. Resulting in a ideal climate for the development of undesired yeasts and moulds. These yeasts and moulds multiply so quickly that the temperature of the TMR ration rises. The mycotoxinen that arise can cause digestive problems, claw problems and a high cell count. Heat formation leads in addition to a bad taste and smell of the TMR influencing the feed intake negatively.
DaaTMR is a mixture of organic acids that inhibits heat formation in the mixer wagon and at the feeding rack. This by preventing the development of yeasts and moulds. DaaTMR can also be used as a silage additive. It helps to silage roughage properly and safely without nutrient losses.
- Mixture of formic acid, ammonium formate, acetic acid, propionic acid and benzoic acid
- Prevents growth of yeasts and molds
- Prevents nutrient losses
- Feed intake remains optimal
- Less residual feed at the feeding rack
- Healthy livestock
