Daavision launches Plan of Approach Salmonella at LIV Venray

Currently no week goes by without Salmonella, and in particular the measures that will apply to category 3 pig holdings, is discussed in the journals and related newsletters. We are sure that you have noticed, that after much speculation, one of the largest slaughter houses in Germany: Tönnies has announced that the reduction due to Salmonella will apply from mid-February onwards.

For this reason Daavision developed a Plan of Approach: Salmonella with Daaquasafe which contains practical possibilities to address Salmonella. This Plan of Approach will be launched during the LIV in Venray. Surrounding the launch of the action plan Daavision organises a mini-symposium where the main theme will be: ‘Stay in control of Salmonella!’. Four interesting key-note speakers will present their vision on Salmonella during this Symposium. These key-note speakers are:

  • Dhr. Dieter Mischok – Dr. – Westfleisch eG
  • Dhr. Filip Boyen – DVM, PhD, Dipl. ECPHM – Universiteit Gent
  • Mevr. Karien Koenders – Dr. – DAP Lintjeshof
  • Dhr. Peter van der Wolf – PhD, Dr. – De Gezondheidsdienst voor Dieren
